Our Story
"My name is Ismael Rivera (Master), and together with my wife and family, I lead MBL since 2022—a Christian basketball league where passion for the game meets faith, fellowship, and growth. What began as a dream is now transforming the lives of hundreds of young people who are choosing basketball as a way to step away from harmful environments and find purpose in Christ."
Mission
To raise a generation of young people who are passionate about sports, guided by Christian values, and who develop character, faith, and a strong sense of belonging through the league—becoming a light in the world around them.
Vision
To be a platform that inspires young people to live with purpose, faith, and discipline, using basketball as a tool to transform lives and communities—and ultimately draw them closer to God.

MBL provides a safe and structured environment where young people can channel their energy in a positive way. By choosing basketball and community over harmful surroundings, they find protection, guidance, and a healthier lifestyle.
Discovering purpose and discipline
Through training, mentorship, and teamwork, players learn responsibility, consistency, and self-control. The discipline of sports helps them develop life skills that prepare them not just for the court, but for school, family, and future goals.

More than a league, MBL is a family. Youth are encouraged to grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, and strengthen their identity in Christ. Every practice, event, and gathering becomes an opportunity to experience fellowship and hope.
